Systems operated by both East and West Germany during the Cold War are included, such as the HAWK and S-200 (SA-5 GAMMON). In the case of the HAWK, a missile which was deployed at numerous locations in the former West Germany, a full six-launcher firing battery along with the associated radar systems is displayed. I visited Gatow in 2007. I thought the Luftwaffe Museum was fairly disappointing. Perhaps I had too high expectations, since before I went to Gatow I visited the outstanding German Panzer Museum at Munster.
